Physical Therapist – Acute Care (Hospital-Based)

We’re working with a highly respected hospital system to fill a full-time acute care PT position. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role offering broad clinical exposure, excellent mentorship, and a genuine commitment to individualized patient care. Ideal for both seasoned clinicians and new grads looking to develop their acute care expertise in a low-pressure, high-support environment.

What You’ll Experience

Rich Clinical Exposure:

• Rotate through ICU, trauma, ortho, neuro, post-op, and pediatric units

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team managing complex, medically fragile patients

• Receive full support while building a well-rounded acute care skillset

1:1 Focused Care Model:

• 30-minute treatment blocks without double-booking

• Daily caseloads average ~10 patients, prioritizing outcomes and clinical reasoning

• Work with flexibility and autonomy tailored to each patient’s plan of care

Scheduling That Works For You:

• Choose from 4x10 or 5x8 schedules depending on availability

• Minimal weekend commitment—usually 1 in 8

• Optional weekend PRN shifts available at $60/hour

Strong Onboarding + Clinical Development:

• Structured orientation and shadowing to ensure a smooth transition

• Great fit for new grads, therapists returning to acute care, or those pivoting from outpatient

Compensation & Benefits Include:

• $36.58–$52.55/hr based on experience

• Up to $30,000 in combined bonuses (sign-on and retention)

• 20 days of PTO
