Physical Therapist (PT) Job Summary
As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, mobility, and functional rehabilitation needs across both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will work closely with physicians, rehabilitation professionals, nurses, patients, and families to create individualized treatment plans that maximize independence, mobility, strength, recovery, and quality of life.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities
In this Physical Therapist role, you will:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses and rehabilitation goals
- Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions focused on restoring mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence
- Treat patients across outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness strategies
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, rehabilitation staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within EMR systems
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment approaches as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
- Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation support staff
- Participate in continuing education, mentorship opportunities, and professional development initiatives
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements

Physical Therapist Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Current Oregon Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Oregon licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to evidence-based physical therapy practice
- Strong clinical documentation and computer proficiency
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy and/or inpatient rehabilitation
- Pelvic floor therapy training (Level 1 or higher) highly preferred
- Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and mobility-related conditions
