Our client — a Forbes-recognized, not-for-profit integrated health system serving Northern California with 60,000+ employees, 3.5+ million patients, and a reputation for clinical excellence — is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist II to join their Rehabilitation Services team at this Hospital in Crescent City, CA. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized rehabilitative programs across a varied caseload that can include inpatient acute, outpatient, and home health patients — bringing broad clinical exposure rarely found in a single position. You will function as a valued member of a multidisciplinary care team — not as an isolated provider buried under paperwork — collaborating directly with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals in a community hospital setting where your expertise will be seen, respected, and appreciated.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a valid California PT license (or demonstrated eligibility for licensure — approved license applicant or resident training program employee will be considered).
- Current BLS – Basic Life Support (Healthcare Provider) certification.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, and ability to work independently in a dynamic, multitasking environment.
- Effective professional communication skills — verbal and written — with strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and teamwork capabilities.
- Commitment to applying new knowledge and maintaining currency with professional practice development and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in acute care, outpatient, or home health settings; comfort with varied diagnostic caseloads is a strong differentiator.
- Board certification in an area of specialty (e.g., OCS, NCS, GCS) or active pursuit of specialty certification.
- Familiarity with electronic health record documentation and proficiency with standard clinical technology platforms.
- Demonstrated track record of mentoring or clinical instruction; prior experience supervising PT assistants or students is a plus.
Our client offers exceptional compensation, world class benefits and the opportunity to grow your career as far as your talent and hard work will take it!
