Position Summary

As a member of an interdisciplinary care team, the Physical Therapist will assess, plan, and provide therapy for a diverse patient population, from post-op inpatients to outpatient orthopedic and neuro patients. You’ll have the freedom to apply evidence-based practices while collaborating with providers and fellow therapists in a team-oriented setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized care plans for a range of conditions

  • Deliver therapy using manual techniques, exercise programs, modalities, and patient education

  • Document all assessments, treatments, and progress accurately and timely in the EHR

  • Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and therapy colleagues across disciplines

  • Support patient independence through home exercise programs and recovery strategies

  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives


Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program

  • Current Oregon Physical Therapist License (or eligible to obtain)

  • BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent)

  • Experience in acute care, swing bed, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred

  • Strong clinical reasoning, interpersonal, and documentation skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Comfortable managing a varied caseload across ages and diagnoses

  • Proficient with electronic medical records and modern therapy software
