Job Description
My client, a 200+ bed healthcare facility located in TN in the middle between Nashville and Knoxville has a need for a Physical Therapist to join their team. NEW GRADS ARE ACCEPTED!
The Physical therapist organizes and carries out physical therapy programs for inpatients or outpatients, to facilitate the rehabilitation of the mentally or physically handicapped. The staff PT provides direct patient focused care to include physical therapy evaluations and quality treatment with short and long term goals determined by the patient’s needs. All PT’s are required to have competency for adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Therapists who will work with children or infants less than 13 years will require specific training and competencies demonstrated prior to working with pediatrics. The staff PT also assists the director of the department in the supervision of support staff, quality assurance and improvement activities and the overall operation of the rehabilitation department.
- We have 2 open Full-Time Physical Therapist positions in our Therapy Services Department and 1 open Full-Time Physical Therapist in our Rehab Center. This position will work in Acute and Outpatient as needed.
- The pay range is $36.60-53.65/hr., depending on experience as to where they fall at within the pay range.
- We also offer a sign on bonus or loan forgiveness with a 2 year contract post orientation (with terms):
- 2+ years experience- $10,000 sign on bonus –OR- up to $5,000 loan forgiveness with a 2 year contract post orientation
- Shift Differentials are as follows:
- $1.15 (if work 4 or more hours between 3p-11p)
- $1.65 (if work 4 or more hours between 11p-7a)
- $3.00 (weekends- if work between 11p Friday night to 7a Monday morning)
- $4.00 (holidays)
QUALIFICATIONS
B.S., M.S. or Doctorate in physical therapy from an accredited program.
Experience preferred but new graduates are acceptable. Candidate must have current licensure or be eligible to apply for licensure in the state of Tennessee.
FIM Certification within 90 days.
