We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Order Entry Technician to support critical pharmacy operations in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. 🕒 Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Some Saturdays required (minimum 2/month, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter new and refill prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
File documentation in accordance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and urgency.
Assist in filling drug kits, ensuring aseptic technique and accuracy.
Verify alignment between preprinted labels, delivery manifests, and original source documentation.
Locate medications from supply, count and package using blister packs or vials.
Pre-package medications based on standard operating procedures.
Support pharmacy billing workflows and contribute to the efficient operation of billing systems.
Maintain clean, calibrated equipment and ensure work areas meet safety standards.
Rotate stock and manage inventory efficiently.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior pharmacy experience with a strong focus on data entry and order processing.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Customer service experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
Open to a contract role with potential to transition to a full-time opportunity based on performance.
