Personal Lines Account Manager

Join a mid-sized, independent insurance agency in the Danvers, MA area that blends professional structure with a family-oriented culture. They are seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team full-time. In this role, you will service an existing book of personal lines accounts and handle quoting for new and renewal business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Provide excellent customer service and support, including education and assistance with coverage needs.
  • Policy Management: Process endorsements, issue binders, and ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Claims Handling: Assist clients with claims processing and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • New Business and Renewals: Obtain and provide quotes, and manage the renewal process effectively.
  • Cross-Selling and Account Rounding: Identify opportunities to expand client coverage and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate client files and document communications thoroughly in the agency management system.

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of personal lines experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with AMS360 or similar agency management systems is a plus.
  • Current Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain one within an agreed timeframe).

Compensation:

  • Salary: $60,000 to $75,000, depending on background and experience.
