Position: Bilingual Personal Injury Law Clerk
Location: Onsite – 5 days per week
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 (commensurate with experience)

Overview
Our personal injury practice is seeking a well-qualified and competent Bilingual Personal Injury Law Clerk / Legal Assistant with substantive experience in personal injury litigation. This role is best suited for someone who is confident working independently, has strong drafting skills, and can support a lawyer with both clerical and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Legal assistants in our office are assigned directly to a lawyer and are expected to handle a mix of law clerk and administrative duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft legal documents for court filings in personal injury matters

  • Prepare, organize, and manage litigation materials and files

  • Assist with court-related documentation and procedural requirements

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to assigned lawyer

  • Maintain accurate and well-organized client files

  • Support the day-to-day operations of a personal injury practice

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/French)

  • Proven, hands-on experience working in a personal injury law practice

  • Demonstrated ability to draft court documents independently

  • Strong understanding of personal injury litigation processes

  • Ability to manage both administrative and law clerk responsibilities

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable

  • Comfortable working onsite full-time (5 days per week)

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate brings depth of experience in personal injury law, rather than broad but shallow exposure to multiple practice areas. This role requires someone who can step in with minimal training and confidently support the lawyer’s needs from day one.
