Hours: 9am–6pm, Monday to Friday

Personal Assistant role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior level Private PA to join a creative family office and design studio based in prime central London. This family office Personal Assistant role sits alongside the Executive Assistant and provides catch-all support to a creative, UHNW Principal, moving fluidly between structured office tasks and the day-to-day unpredictability of private household and family life. The successful Personal Assistant will be equally at ease managing a spreadsheet, solving a travel logistics problem, or handling a last-minute personal errand, and will bring calm, discretion, and exceptional organisation to everything they do. This is a rare chance for the right Personal Assistant to become an integral part of a fast-paced, high-touch household.

They are a respectful family who do not contact you out of hours unless it is an emergency that cannot be avoided. For a well-organised PA this role can be managed well within office hours. You will also be working as part of a great, collaborative team with a people to learn from.

Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

  • Provide general administration to the family office and design studio, including correspondence and online document management
  • Liaise with the finance team to support invoice processing and expense reconciliation
  • Coordinate schedules and communicate changes promptly
  • Maintain accurate records and contact cards across property, staff, suppliers, and household accounts
  • Coordinate school logistics and extracurricular activities
  • Liaise with household staff to ensure smooth day-to-day family communication
  • Provide support and oversight of care for the family dogs, including grooming, medications, and regular checkups, liaising closely with the House Manager
  • Organise family events and celebrations from concept through to delivery
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for immediate and extended family members' day-to-day needs
  • Work closely with the Executive Assistant to manage and oversee the Principal's diary, including researching and booking personal appointments, engagements and experiences, and supporting RSVPs
  • Manage personal shopping, gifting, sourcing, wrapping, and styling requirements
  • Provide booking support for restaurants, birthdays, anniversaries, family dinners, and children's parties
  • Arrange day-to-day train and car transportation bookings
  • Handle personal administration including insurance, medical appointments, subscriptions, and memberships
  • Oversee shipping logistics relating to the households and other personal purchases
  • Anticipate needs ahead of time, flagging opportunities and potential issues before they arise
  • Arrange, research, and book holiday trips and last-minute getaways throughout the year, coordinating individual family members' trips as needed
  • Oversee all travel coordination, including research, visa applications, and flight, accommodation, car, and taxi bookings
  • Understand complex personal travel preferences and arrange supporting staff as needed, such as housekeepers, chefs, or waiting staff
  • Prepare and deliver bespoke, end-to-end travel itineraries and information packs with exceptional attention to detail
  • Research on-site and nearby activities to create personalised experiences
  • Manage guest lists and prepare invitation booklets for family and friends joining trips
  • Track and monitor trip costs and budgets via detailed spreadsheets, verifying invoices and flagging deviations
  • Optimise travel bookings using Avios or similar programmes to ensure cost savings
  • Promptly communicate schedule changes and reorganise as needed

  • Proven experience working with UHNW principals in a luxury setting
  • Able to build and maintain strong, supportive working relationships with family members, colleagues, and suppliers

  • Comfortable handling multiple, simultaneous demands across personal and family office matters
  • Naturally stylish, with an awareness of current lifestyle trends
  • Flexible and unflappable, genuinely willing to step outside a conventional job description
