Permit to Work Issuer

Lithko Contracting is seeking an onsite Permit Issuer to handle the end-to-end administration of preparing, tracking, and auditing "Permit to Work" documents. This role will ensure compliance with regulations, maintain accurate logs of high-risk activities, and liaise with site teams to verify necessary control measures.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Permit Management: Prepare, review, issue, and track required safety permits.
  • Maintains meticulous records of permits, site safety inspections, and safety orientations.
  • Ensures all documentation adheres to OSHA or local safety standards and that required safety equipment is logged and inspected.
  • Acts as focal point for safety concerns, verifying that workers have appropriate safety documentation before starting tasks.
  • Assists with collecting information for injury reporting, near-misses, and safety violations.

Strong Preferences

  • Experience in administration and permit coordination in a construction/industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and standard safety protocols.
  • Strong organizational skills, proficiency in documentation software, and clear communication.
