As the Pension Specialist, you will work closely with the Manager – Total Rewards and the rest of the HR team across multiple entities. You will act as the primary contact for all of the Canadian pensions, and act as the liaison between the vendors and corporate office. The Pension Specialist will administer the RRSP and pension plans, communicate any changes, attend pension committee meetings and ensure all proper documentation is in order to mee benefits and pension regulatory requirements. You will also act at the point of contact for retired and current employees in response to any inquiries or challenges they may be having while delivering an excellent employee experience. Your role will be essential to creating and maintaining a top notch total rewards program to the workforce and maintaining your pulse on new ideas or best practices will be expected.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strong interpersonal skills to be able to build and nuture relationships, combined with an excellent understanding of benefits and pension. You will bring 2+ years working as the main point of contact for any RRSP or pension administration as well as benefit processing. Your strong customer service approach and ability to work through problems with a patient hand is essential. We are looking for someone who is accustomed to being part of a team and recognizes their part of the puzzle is needed to complete it.
