Pediatric Radiology Physician

PEDIATRIC RADIOLOGY - DETROIT, MI (HYBRID)

THE OPPORTUNITY
Join the radiology team at Children's Hospital of Michigan with approximately 90,000 pediatric studies annually. This position offers 80% on-site with periodic at-home reading, 1:6 call rotation, and academic appointments at three universities.

COMPENSATION

CLINICAL PRACTICE
- ~90,000 pediatric exams annually
- Full-spectrum imaging: radiographs, ultrasound, CT, MR, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy
- Pediatric-only reads (no adult patients)
- Typically 2-3 pediatric radiologists on-site

SCHEDULE & CALL
- Weekdays 8 AM - 5 PM
- Equitable 1:6 call (weeknights, weekends, holidays)
- Residents/fellows cover night call with attending availability
- Must live within ~1 hour for occasional fluoroscopy needs

REMOTE/HYBRID
- 80% in-person
- Ability to arrange periodic at-home reading
- Home PACS provided

TEACHING
- Daily resident engagement
- Teaching pediatric radiology fellows, radiology residents, medical students
- Academic appointments: Wayne State, Central Michigan, Michigan State Universities
- ACGME-accredited Pediatric Radiology fellowship

TECHNOLOGY
- ACR accredited (MRI, CT, NM, ultrasound)
- Transition to Sectra PACS (March 2026)
- Multiple MRI units, Dual Source 256-slice CT with FLASH
- New fluoroscopy/X-ray rooms (2026)

REQUIREMENTS
- BC/BE Diagnostic Radiology with Pediatric Radiology fellowship
- Body imaging experience required
- CAQ in Pediatric Radiology or eligibility
- Fetal imaging experience preferred (not required)
- New grads and experienced radiologists welcome
