Payroll Team Lead

About Our Client:
Our client is seeking an Assistant Supervisor or Team Lead, Payroll on a full-time permanent basis working in a hybrid work model.
Scope:
This role processes payroll and all payroll related activities including T4 processing, government remittances etc. You will act as a back up and provide support to other payroll related functions including compensation and benefit administration in order to ensure timely and efficient processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in payroll, and administration of compensation, pension, and benefits’ programs
- Seasoned payroll and benefits professional with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Accredited payroll, HR, Accounting and/or Pension & Benefit designation is considered an asset
- Expertise working in MS Excel
- Experience with a large HRIS and Payroll Management Software such as ADP, Ceridian, or Workday is required
- Previous experience with oversight and providing coaching to others is a strong asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of integrity
