What you will be doing as the Payroll Specialist:
- Responsible for payroll for 1500 employees, both hourly and salary.
- Review and processing of payroll adjustment forms for US and Canadian payrolls.
- Review and acceptance of employee self-service changes for US and Canadian payrolls.
- Review and acceptance of comp/position changes for US and Canadian payrolls.
- Review US and Canadian timecards for errors and communicate with management to resolve.
- Process benefit corrections and updates for US and Canadian payrolls.
- Process garnishments: Answer data requests, add payee to Dayforce, apply garnishment to Employee Dayforce file, answer debtor information requests.
- Setup pay cards, process Final pay for US and Canadian payrolls (based on state regs.)
- Collect final deductions
- Payout remaining accruals.
- Wire/same day pay for California.
- Run and process concur expense data for US and Canadian payrolls.
- Process deposit rejections and updates for US and Canadian payrolls.
What you will need as the Payroll Specialist:
- GED, High School diploma preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in payroll field
- Experience with Canadian payroll, preferred.
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills, Interpersonal skills
- Strong Skills in Teamwork & Collaboration.
- Strong External Customer Service Skills.
- Strong Analytical thinking Skills.
- Self Management Skills.
- Ability to Work under Pressure and to Manage Deadlines.
