Responsibilities

Manage and process payroll for both salaried and hourly employees across multiple pay cycles

Oversee payroll operations for a workforce of 3,000+ employees with continued growth

Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies

Lead payroll integration for newly acquired companies, ensuring smooth system transitions and employee experience

Maintain and enhance payroll operations leveraging Ceridian Dayforce for accuracy and efficiency

Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to streamline processes, align policies, and resolve complex payroll issues

Audit payroll records regularly to identify and correct discrepancies, minimizing risk and ensuring compliance

Manage employee payroll inquiries, delivering timely and professional resolution to maintain trust and satisfaction

Oversee benefits, deductions, and garnishments to ensure proper setup and processing

Generate and analyze payroll reports to support leadership decision-making and financial planning

Support annual audits, tax filings, and reporting requirements, collaborating with external auditors and agencies

Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and best practices to strengthen internal controls

Train and mentor payroll team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to deadlines
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in payroll management, preferably in mid-to-large sized organizations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related fields
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll and high-volume pay runs
- Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and compliance
- Proficiency in Ceridian Dayforce or similar payroll systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with executive leadership
