About Our Client

Our client, a well established national company is seeking a talented Payroll Administrator to join their high-performing payroll team.


Responsibilities
  • Weekly full cycle payroll processing of multiple provinces which includes, hourly, salaried and commissions (500+ employees)
  • Perform routine general journal entries
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Support and maintain time & attendance tracking system
  • Provide analysis and reporting (i.e. headcount, pay bands, payroll market insights)
  • Issue ROEs and prepare payroll reports as requested
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Support a large number of locations and other areas of Human Resources within the organization
  • Ad-hoc projects as assigned to improve departments value and efficiency

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of high volume payroll experience (processing payroll for 900+ employees weekly)
  • ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
  • Process improvements and systems savvy with strong multi provincial experience
  • Strong Canadian legislative requirements and CRA regulations
  • Advanced Excel skills including vlookup, pivot tables, data manipulation and analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingual French preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills required
  • Must display a positive attitude, be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
