Our client, a well established national company is seeking a talented Payroll Administrator to join their high-performing payroll team.
Responsibilities
- Weekly full cycle payroll processing of multiple provinces which includes, hourly, salaried and commissions (500+ employees)
- Perform routine general journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations
- Support and maintain time & attendance tracking system
- Provide analysis and reporting (i.e. headcount, pay bands, payroll market insights)
- Issue ROEs and prepare payroll reports as requested
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Support a large number of locations and other areas of Human Resources within the organization
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned to improve departments value and efficiency
Qualifications
- 2+ years of high volume payroll experience (processing payroll for 500+ employees weekly)
- ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
- Process improvements and systems savvy with strong multi provincial experience
- Strong Canadian legislative requirements and CRA regulations
- Advanced Excel skills including vlookup, pivot tables, data manipulation and analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Bilingual French preferred
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills required
- Must display a positive attitude, be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
