Payroll Functional Lead - Peoplesoft
Our client, a well established organization in Toronto, has engaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to find them a Payroll Functional Lead. ROSS is an innovative leader in Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), HR Technology, Recruitment and HR Professional Services. We’re a company of People Specialist helping companies align their People Strategy with their Business Growth.
As part of the transition team, carry out activities to successfully transition new client, including job knowledge transfer, forms setup, operating procedures, etc. Following successful transition, continue in role of Delivery Analyst.
· Leads client process requirements
· Prepares requirements documentations across phases of the project
· Develops SIT and UAT test scripts
· Performs SIT. UAT, SRT (Operational Readiness) testing, retesting
· Develops internal documentation (e.g. SOP's)
· Assists with set up of operations teams, infrastructure, documentation, and processes for delivery teams
· Undergraduate Degree (BA, BBA, BS in Business), or equivalent degree or work experience required
· 3-5 years of work experience in Payroll
· Experience in project/implementation work
· Team lead experience and People Coaching experience
· Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple tasks
· Demonstrates analytical skills, is a self-starter
· Advanced understanding of client policies and procedures and provides advice and counsel
· Ability to properly research problem solve with various stakeholders changes, system or process
· Experience with selecting the best option to solve the needs of the client
· Ability to identify process improvement areas
· Ability to refine processing procedures based on "big picture" understanding
· Must have experience with Peoplesoft
· Ability to navigate and learn multiple systems
· Ability to write client business requirement documents
· CPA or CPM certification would be an asset
