About Our Client:

Our rapidly growing Toronto-based client in the real estate and property space is looking for a Payroll Manager. The Payroll Manager, will be responsible for the following tasks:


  • Responsible for processing payroll for growing company due to acquisitions
  • Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time (hourly and salaried)
  • Manage, lead and implement new payroll system
  • Work closely with payroll and benefits administrator with day to day payroll duties along with the system implementation.
  • Organize and implement year-end schedules
  • Balance and remit bi-weekly and weekly payroll
  • Prepare intercompany payroll entries
  • Process new hires, terminations, ROE’s and other changes
  • Track paid time off entitlements
  • Manage employees benefits program
  • Complete year end activities such as T4s
  • Maintain employee records and files
  • Other projects as assigned
  • Review, train, and mentor payroll and benefits administrator
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger to bank statements
  • Other duties/requirements as assigned


  • CPM or PCP designated would be an asset
  • Previous supervisory experience (will have multiple direct reports)
  • Previous experience using a large payroll system (ADP, Ceridian, PeopleSoft, etc.)
  • Experience with multi provincial payroll
  • Must be a team player with strong leadership skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
