Patternmaker

Collaborate with Design for the implementation and execution of the fitting and pattern making process. This position requires an out of the box thinker who can collaborate with the existing team, outside vendors and across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities, not limited to:

• Partner with Design through the hand off and fitting process
• Create and adjust patterns in digital software (Lectra)
• Work with inhouse studio, cutting and sewing departments to create prototype & sew by samples
• Conduct fitting with Design and other cross functional teams, and adjust patterns accordingly
• Communicate with vendors to ensure desired fit and design intent is executed
• Ensure all pattern revisions are completed within a timely manner to ensure deadlines are maintained

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of construction and patterns
• Create cutting tickets, mini markers, and sewing instructions for the Studio team
• Important level of attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task while staying organized
• Proficient in Lectra
• In depth knowledge of fabric, apparel, materials, construction and fit
