Our client is a 5* boutique resort with less than 100 units and multiple F&B outlets on an idyllic beach on a tropical island in Philippines.

The Resort is still in pre-opening phase, opening is scheduled for Q1 2027.

Note that this resort is located in a magnificent, but remote location.

This role will primarily focus on handling the pre-opening and subsequent operation of this resort.
However, the role will also oversee the group’s other 2 boutique resorts (1 in operation / 1 in development stage)

This role will be reporting directly to Executive Chef.

Please note that this position is available for Expats only.

Profile

• Strong foundation in luxury boutique hotels and/or high end pastry shops or fine dining restaurants
• Culinary school background
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Ability to use new and modern techniques
• Having a “whatever it takes” attitude
• Creative, innovative
• Out of the box approach to food
• Familiar with budgeting and costing
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and safety standards
• Promotes team work
• Very motivated and with a lot of passion for food
• Passion for training and development of others
• Attention to details of food quality, preparation and presentation
• Displays confident and professional manner
• Displays flexibility
