Party Chief - Land Surveying

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor, Party Chief to lead 2 to 4-person land survey field crews throughout the Durham/Raleigh area.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Party Chief, with a strong track record of managing crews and equipment in the field. Responsibilities include organizing and leading field survey operations, ensuring that the appropriate equipment and manpower are available for each project. The Party Chief will work closely with in-office personnel to determine field survey needs, coordinating efforts to gather accurate and comprehensive data for commercial and residential development projects. Proficiency in the operation of Leica, Trimble robotic, and total station equipment is essential, along with the ability to transfer field data into computer systems upon returning from the field.

Candidates should possess either an AA degree, a High School Diploma, or equivalent direct hands-on field experience. North Carolina State PLS and/or LSIT registrations is preferred but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as the role requires clear interaction with both field crews and in-office staff.
