Partner sought for a dynamic Top 100 firm, with a growing and significant northern Ohio practice footprint. Seeking Principal or Director or Manager expecting to become an equity partner in a public accounting firm. Experience in tax or audit or business consulting with a Top 300 public accounting environment , key to success in this role: leadership skill, team relationships, client and new business relationships, and partner relationships within the firm. Goal is to substantially grow the northern Ohio region. Significant growth appetite for this Top 100 firm, audit experience welcome yet not required; a strong natural commitment to providing business advice to clients as a priority.

The Role of the Partner:
- Create with the collaborative support of members of the offices in the region an achievable business growth plan.
- Identify internal talent that can mentor staff on client issues related to tax or audit
- Manage client relationships where consulting and tax issues critical
- Delegate the research and deliver to clients as a key tax-partner specialist within the firm
- Manage and build a communication process within the department
Background Profile:
- CPA or JD
- Business development ability, fostering client and potential client relationships
- 6-8 years or more of public accounting client service experience including significant corporate tax experience
- Track record of mentoring staff and building teams
- Ability to identify mentors to build departmental staff relationships
