Part-Time Office Assistant / Recruiter
Job Description
Pay: $20 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant / Recruiter to support our CEO with administrative tasks while also gaining hands-on experience in recruiting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, professional, and eager to learn the recruiting process while assisting with office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the CEO, including scheduling, email management, and document preparation.
- Assist with data entry, file organization, and maintaining office records.
- Manage and update spreadsheets, databases, and reports.
- Utilize Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for various tasks.
- Support recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Communicate with candidates and clients via phone and email, scheduling and confirming interviews.
- Assist in posting job ads and maintaining job boards.
- Perform general office duties to improve efficiency and free up the CEO’s time.
- Attend networking events, career fairs, and client meetings (local travel required, approx. 25%).
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation for travel to client sites and events (25% travel required).
- Strong people skills with a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Clean and neat appearance with a business-casual dress code.
- Interest in learning recruiting and human resources.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Previous office or administrative experience is a plus but not required.
