Part-Time Fetal Echo Sonographer

As a Fetal Echo Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in prenatal diagnostics, contributing to superior patient outcomes.

Salary: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform fetal echocardiography to assess fetal heart structures and functions, identifying congenital heart defects and other abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and perinatologists to provide integrated prenatal care.
  • Prepare detailed fetal heart reports and document findings to share with healthcare providers involved in the care of the mother and fetus.
  • Maintain and calibrate sonography equipment to ensure accuracy in diagnostics.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide compassionate patient care, taking the time to explain procedures and answer any queries from expectant parents.
  • Continuously update professional knowledge and participate in educational opportunities relevant to maternal-fetal medicine.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Certified in Fetal Echo through RDMS or RDCS is required.
  • Proven experience as a Sonographer with specialized skills in fetal echocardiography.
  • In-depth understanding of maternal-fetal anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to interpret complex diagnostic data and provide accurate clinical recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certification in maternal-fetal medicine sonography is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in a clinic focused exclusively on reproductive and maternal-fetal health.
