Individual can work from Lake Worth office or remotely anywhere within 3 hours
Join Atlantic Environmental Systems (AES) in a brand-new part-time design engineer role. The engineer will join a family-friendly, supportive work environment with the ability to set a flexible schedule and work remotely a minimum of 20 hours per week designing pump stations for a wide range of private development clients. In addition, the individual will lead lunch and learn sessions at client offices, educating clients on pump station design. Pump station specific design experience is not required, only an interest in learning how to design pump stations and prior experience in the design of engineering projects.
For this role, the engineer can work in the Lake Worth office, a hybrid schedule, or a full-time remote schedule anywhere within 3 hours of the office.

AES is known for the Manufactured Odorless Pump Stations (MOPS) program, used by design and consulting engineers in the application and permitting of standardized stormwater and wastewater pump stations nationwide. Based in Lake Worth Florida, AES has operated for over 30 years designing, manufacturing, and maintaining FDEP-compliant wastewater and stormwater pump stations.
Requirements:
• BS in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to become licensed within a year
• 4+ years of professional experience
• Prior design experience in an area related to water/wastewater, hydraulics, land development, or related field preferred
