Job Description
Marietta, Georgia law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal (Pre-Suit) to join their team. This is an immediate opening! The responsibilities for this position will include, but not be limited to, the following:
* Working the clients' files through the various stages of pre-litigation swiftly, accurately and completely.
* Review new cases promptly upon receipt, establish contact and maintain a working relationship with clients via telephone, email, client meetings.
* Follow up with clients to verify that they are receiving the proper medical care for their injuries.
* Follow cases closely to ensure receipt of all pertinent documentation at the appropriate time for demand preparation.
* Communicate timely with insurance adjusters via demand packages and negotiation follow-up with attorney.
* Timely complete settlement procedures with clients, close client trust accounts after all outstanding medical bills are paid, etc.
* Track, and complete relevant checklist items, create, maintain, transfer and dispose of client files.
* Knowledge of the full discovery process helpful.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of personal injury pre-suit experience. Proficiency in Needles software is a MUST. Candidates must also have a stable work history and stellar professional references.
