Panel Shop Technician
Job Description
Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Panel Shop Technician in the Houston, Texas area! This is a factory-based, hands-on role supporting a team with panel integration and materials logistics for customized control systems. This is an internal-facing position with minimal local travel.
Key Responsibilities

Panel Assembly & QA: Execute precise panel integration and assembly (per IFC packages), providing essential support for quality assurance processes, including internal testing and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).

Materials & Logistics Management: Control the end-to-end materials flow, handling the safe receipt, inspection, and accurate documentation for local and international shipments. (Coordination with suppliers is required; price negotiation is excluded.)

Compliance & Safety: Strictly maintain an organized, secure workspace, ensuring full adherence to safety rules and industrial standards like ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001.

Equipment & Travel: Safely operate material handling equipment, including hand trucks. Travel is minimal, limited to necessary on-shore activities (e.g., local supplier visits).
Required Qualifications & Skills

Hands-on Expertise: Proven experience in panel assembly, factory operations, or industrial logistics is required

Technical Compliance: Strong commitment to quality and safety standards (ISO 9001/OHSAS 18001). Knowledge of UL 508A standards is a significant plus.

Professional Skills: Strong organizational, record-keeping, and attention-to-detail skills are essential for material management.
