Position Summary

Euravia Engineering & Supply Co Ltd, a part of Magellan Aerospace Kelbrook, Lancashire has an exciting opportunity for Paint & Clean Technician.

  • Full-time-permanent position
  • Weekdays are Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week.
  • Job location: Colne Road, Kelbrook, Lancashire BB18 6SN

To clean, mask and paint PT6 engine components in line with OEM manuals/technical drawings, and in accordance with Euravia’s Quality Systems.

Essential Responsibilities

  • To be competent in all aspects of component paint;
    • Component masking
    • Component surface preparation
    • Component coating restoration
    • Maintaining adequate material stock and adhere to expiry dates
  • To be competent in all aspects of components clean
    • Component clean
    • Component blasting
    • Daily and weekly checks to ensure compliance to required standards
  • Liaison with the various department heads to ensure that the needs of the business are met.
  • Ensure compliance with Euravia’s Quality Systems.
  • Maintain the highest 6S standard.
  • Ensure compliance with H & S requirements and liaise with H&S manager as necessary
  • Completion of any other tasks as designated by your Line Manager

Position Requirements


  • At least 3 years’ experience in a painting role – Experience in aviation is not mandatory

Key Competencies:

  • Competent preparation, masking & painting of various surfaces
  • Understand and interpret technical drawings and service bulletin requirements
