Physical Therapist – PT
Evaluate, establish outpatient physical therapy plans of care and carry direct responsibility for performance of the day to day treatments of clinic patients.
Must be capable of functioning independently in the clinical setting.
Serves as a consultant to the medical referral source and acts as a liaison to other services contacted during the treatment of an individual, and to the community in matters regarding delivery of physical therapy services.
Assures that physical therapy services are provided in accordance with standards of all governmental, private and managed care agencies.
Interpret referrals, evaluate patient function by application of diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve and joint assessment; identify physical therapy diagnosis, and develop appropriate goals and plans of care.
Treat patients for relief of pain, development, and/or restoration of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal or neurological function to achieve maximum performance and progress.
Treat a diversified clinical patient load and maintain a high level of expertise in specialized areas of physical therapy.
Legal Requirement: Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized school of physical therapy, or completion of a Physical Therapy program and one year relevant experience.
