- Evaluate, establish outpatient physical therapy plans of care and carry direct responsibility for performance of the day to day treatments of clinic patients.

- Must be capable of functioning independently in the clinical setting.

- Serves as a consultant to the medical referral source and acts as a liaison to other services contacted during the treatment of an individual, and to the community in matters regarding delivery of physical therapy services.

- Assures that physical therapy services are provided in accordance with standards of all governmental, private and managed care agencies.

- Interpret referrals, evaluate patient function by application of diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve and joint assessment; identify physical therapy diagnosis, and develop appropriate goals and plans of care.

- Treat patients for relief of pain, development, and/or restoration of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal or neurological function to achieve maximum performance and progress.

- Treat a diversified clinical patient load and maintain a high level of expertise in specialized areas of physical therapy.


- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized school of physical therapy, or completion of a Physical Therapy program and one year relevant experience.

- Equivalent education/experience.
