Requirements
- The PSM Engineer will support the development and progression of process safety related capital projects.
- Work with technical and operations staff to identify and mitigate potential LOPC hazards of existing and new processes:
- Facilitate process hazard analyses and other hazard assessments efficiently to identify potential process hazards.
- Participate in Ad Hoc incident investigations.
- Work closely with the pressure safety group to identify and correct potential venting and pressure relief concerns.
- Assist in maintenance and revisions to the OSHA PSM and EPA Risk Management Programs for the operating site.
- Relocation provided. Hybrid work environment. $120K-$160K.
Requirements
- The PSM Engineer will have a BS degree with a chemical engineering major and 3+ years experience in PSM.
- Process Hazard Analysis and Layers of Protection Analysis preferred.
- PHA software such as PHA-Pro is preferred.
- Knowledge in application and compliance requirements of regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
- Familiarity with industry standards and recommended practices (API, NFPA, ASME, etc.)
- Knowledgeable on Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and risk assessment, including HAZOP, What-If, LOPA, and basic Safety Integrity Level (SIL) identification.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
