Position Summary

Our client is hiring a POS Systems Analyst (Hybrid – Columbus, OH) to support and maintain Point-of-Sale systems used across retail locations. This role focuses on troubleshooting POS issues, assisting with system deployments, and supporting store operations. Candidates should have experience with POS platforms and a technical mindset, with SQL experience considered a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide support for daily POS operations, hardware, software, and store technology
• Assist with POS upgrades, installations, and implementation projects
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and support resolution activities
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and reliable store systems
• Use SQL to validate data or assist with technical analysis (if applicable)
• Maintain system documentation, user guides, and support processes
• Assist with testing, configuration, and change management for POS environments

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on POS system experience
• Experience supporting POS implementations or rollouts is preferred
• SQL knowledge is a plus
• Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience in retail environments or support teams is helpful
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule and support on-site needs as required
