PFS Manager - CLOSED

A large critical access hospital located in the Southeast has an immediate opportunity for the newly created position of Manager of PFS. Working under the supervision of the Director of PFS, the Manager is responsible for the coordination and supervision of all the functions and activities related to Billing Specialists, Patient Access Representatives and Schedulers. This individual aids in monitoring and setting goals, priorities, and performance standards for Patient Access and Business Office functions including: billing, scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification, prior authorization, financial clearance, admission, and registration.

The appropriate candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare or related field, as well as a minimum five years experience in a hospital or medical office setting.
