PCBA Quality Assurance Engineer
We are seeking an experienced PCBA Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on the aerospace industry's advanced technology development. In this role, you will ensure the highest quality of printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) processes. You will take an active role in understanding and executing quality assurance standards, including in-process and final inspections, to drive continuous improvements in our operations. This position offers an opportunity to advance to a supervisory role, actively contributing to our mission of pioneering game-changing technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure high standard Quality Control for PCBA ensuring adherence to the PCBA manufacturing process.
- Maintain and apply current IPC-A-610 Certification knowledge.
- Perform AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports effectively.
- Visual inspection of solder joints and examination of defects using magnification tools.
- Handle ESD sensitive components correctly using appropriate electronic test equipment.
- Conduct thorough Incoming inspections to maintain traceability of parts and materials.
- Review and analyze supplier sampling inspection reports.
- Lead Material Review Board (MRB) sessions to ascertain root causes and initiate corrective actions.
- Verify in-process and final test results to confirm compliance with test procedures.
- Ensure accurate completion and organization of build and test documentation including Certificates of Conformance (CoCs).
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and external suppliers and customers to foster strong professional relationships.
- Support the implementation of AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) through various tasks and assignements.
- Update and refine procedures, work instructions, and forms to align with best practices and process improvements.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality and Product Assurance specific to aerospace or electronics manufacturing.
- Familiarity with EEE components, through hole, and surface mount packages.
- Experience with Electronic Test Equipment and understanding of RF electronics and digital circuits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of IPC structure for PCB, PCBA, and cable harness assemblies.
- Ability to follow electrical schematics and conduct troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of software, scripts, and programming languages.
- Familiarity with J-STD-001 soldering standard and NADCAP certification processes.
- Proficient in utilizing multimeters, network analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
- Understanding of mechanical drawings, machined parts, and knowledge of GD&T.
