Operations Manager - Commercial Electrical
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to join our growing Commercial
Electrical company. As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating
our commercial electrical projects, ensuring that they run smoothly, efficiently, and on budget. You will
be responsible for managing field activities, addressing project challenges, and overseeing project
estimates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial project management, with
experience in million dollar+ electrical projects.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
 Proven experience in managing commercial electrical projects, including monitoring field
activities, resolving team challenges, and ensuring projects stay on track.
 Ability to unblock teams with questions and issues to keep projects moving forward. Strong
leadership skills are essential for managing field teams and ensuring high productivity.
 While commercial project estimating is a desired skill, the primary focus of this role is operations
management. We are seeking someone who can manage complex projects efficiently. If you
have estimating experience, it will be considered a valuable asset.
 Ability to develop and manage pre-construction budgeting, special consideration given to the
electrical requirements needed for the other MEP elements..
 Ensure that projects and estimates are accurately prepared with full consideration given to
entire scope and current competitive market conditions, taking into consideration resource
allocation and timelines.
Education Requirements:
 High School Diploma or GED (required)
 Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
Experience Required:
 Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial project management within the electrical
industry.
 Extensive experience with large-scale, million dollar+ commercial projects.
 Strong background in managing field teams and resolving operational challenges.
Special Certifications/ Licenses:
 Must hold a Master Electrician License in the state of Colorado.
