| Employment Type: Direct Hire - Full Time | Work Schedule: Monday-Friday |
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customer relationships; generate new leads and meet revenue goals
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate equipment and prepare bids, contracts, and payment processing
- Conduct site visits, perform equipment demonstrations, and coordinate equipment delivery with mechanics
- Monitor competitor activity and support local marketing efforts to increase market share
- Maintain accurate sales reports and customer records
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in equipment rental or construction industry (10+ years preferred)
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to learn and demonstrate equipment use; willingness to travel locally/off-island
- Valid driver's license; ability to pass drug test and equipment operation training (forklift/aerial lift)
- Computer skills (MS Office) and ability to prepare contracts and reports
- Ability to work extended hours as needed and perform occasional physical tasks including lifting and equipment handling
