Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP of Sales of one of the leading crane rental service providers in the Southwestern US.
The Outside Sales Representative will sell the Company’s mobile crane services as well as the Company’s brand itself to both new and existing clientele. Most of the working hours for this position will be spent outside of the office generating and following up on sales leads. The overall goal of the position is to increase the company’s sales and market share while building and maintaining client relationships. The position will also require some office time coordinating with other key Company stakeholders to ensure that the projects resulting from sales efforts are effectively managed and fulfilled to the satisfaction of the client and the Company. Primary functions include: Generate and follow up on new sales leads; Build and maintain client relationships; Increase sales and market share; Ensure customer satisfaction and return business; Identify new opportunities and industry trends that can improve the Company’s service, performance, or reputation.

Background Required:
  • Outside Sales or Business Development in the Heavy Lift or related industry (5 years)
  • General knowledge of the technical aspects of crane operation
  • Industry contacts & relationships
  • Marketing strategies, materials, and concepts
  • Subject matter expert within their assigned industry(s)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Location: Southern, CA Region (relocation assistance may be available)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Knowledge of Taxi & Bare rental crane quotes & lease agreements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Technical Diploma
