Large Solar Company located in Richardson, Texas is looking for an Outside Sales Representative!
- Selling products for the North American Commercial, Utility and Storage markets
- Performs technical market and competitor analysis
- Is a product expert in the industry and within the company
- Identifies country-specific engineering requirements for photovoltaic solar systems
- Synthesizes market, customer, and other feedback into product requirements
- Works with Product Development to manifest requirements in the product portfolio
- Collaborates with marketing to define and execute campaigns, taking into account product positioning, key benefits, and target customers
- Coordinates the market entry of new products in the respective geography
- Engineering degree preferred
- Business degree or experience desired
- Knowledge of the PV industry
- Familiarity with Commercial market segment of photovoltaics desired
- Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects and/or programs concurrently
- Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional, international teams
- Disposition towards value-based positioning within a market
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and technical
- Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively
- Ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
- Demonstrated ability to translate conceptual goals into actionable tasks
