- Minimum 5 years sales, account management, and territory field sales
- Sales experience must include new-business acquisition and growth of established accounts
- Proven closing capability and consistent achievement of quota in previous sales roles
- Ability to cold-call and secure in-person appointments
- Experience working independently from a home office and traveling within assigned territory
- Sales experience must include both phone and face-to-face client-site sales calls
- Consultative selling skills including ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate with decision makers and decision influencers
- Experience in the plumbing and heating supply or HVAC industry is a plus
- Effective funnel management with ability to forecast all opportunities and manage sales activity plans
- Strong personal excellence including desire to win and over-achieve; positive attitude; and policy/record compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
