Outside Sales Professional

Job Duties

  • Outside Sales and Development

  • Good understanding of commercial products - HVAC ,Plumbing and Water Treatment

  • Participates with management in updating sales region plan and set sales goals

  • Remains current with changes in local codes and consumer preferences

  • Creates initiative for new sales communication; cold calls and word of mouth

  • Learns and applied new product knowledge to enhance sales and personal professionalism

  • Maintains and improves customer relationships and satisfaction

  • Gathers, analyzes and disseminates information concerning general price levels, competitive new product introductions, competitive activity in specific market locations

  • Visits job sites as needed to measure or provide client services

  • Consistently makes out calls to customers to ensure high level of customer communication

  • Sales- Order Processing

  • Negotiates and propose pricing and terms according to company’s requirements for customer and transaction profitability

  • Prepares and presents accurate quotes; liaise with Inside Sales

Candidate Requirements

Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate will have previous sales experience, and exceptional customer service skills. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude that wants to aid in the growth of an established team.

Other desirable attributes include:

  • Outside sales experience supplemented with extremely strong customer service skills;

  • Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability and desire to continuously expand product knowledge;

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Ability to adapt to a diverse customer base;

  • Strong customer focus;

  • Practice honest and ethical sales practices with customers, vendors and co-workers.
