Outpatient Physical Therapist - Roseville, CA

Salary: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough Physical Therapy assessments at the facility and in patient's homes to determine care needs and set goals.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings to develop comprehensive care plans for participants.
  • Implement Physical Therapy interventions as per physician orders and agreed upon in care plans.
  • Perform various treatments including active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, and functional ADL training, utilizing modalities like massage, heat, and electricity.
  • Supervise and train Therapy Assistants and staff in the implementation of Functional Maintenance Programs.
  • Provide education and training to staff, participants, and caregivers on the use and care of therapeutic modalities and equipment.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy with a validity of minimum five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Must hold a valid California Physical Therapy License or have proof of License eligibility.
  • Experience working with frail or elderly populations in a clinical setting is highly preferred.
  • Physical Therapy degree obtained outside of the US should meet US equivalency standards.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain prior to employment commencement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
  • More than two years of clinical experience specifically with an elderly patient demographic.

  • Expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to instruct and supervise assistants and other staff.
  • Proficient in the use of various physical therapy techniques and equipment.
