- Capture across the Command the current force structure in concert with the Command J1, Directorate of Force Development, Command headquarters Commanding Officer and Command units and directorates.
- Recommend formats, information management tools, and processes for capture and maintenance of organisational structures.
- Provide guidance on the current structures and support the analysis process for assessing the validity of the structures against current tasks.
- Assist and propose the policies and procedures for the Command to maintain and develop its force structures.
- Assist in the development of Defence Team Establishment Proposals and change templates in concert with the Command Headquarters and VCDS DTEP staff.
- Support the J1 in the coordination with HR-Civ and CMP on structural change.
