Organizational Design and Classification Consultan
Job Description
The Consultant will work with the Directorate’s management team to support the development, review and maintenance of accurate and compliant job descriptions (for various groups including AS, PM, CO, LP and EX positions) and related documentation.
The Organizational Design and Classification Contractor must provide all necessary expertise to develop, review, and finalize classification products (namely job description and complete rationale) for various occupational groups, including but not limited to AS, PM, CO, LP, and EX positions.
- Complete Job Descriptions (unique or generic job description), in full compliance with the requirements and specifications set out in the Government of Canada’s classification policy and related directives.
- Classification Rationales: in full compliance with the requirements and specifications set out in the Government of Canada’s classification policy and related directives.
- Discussing with management in order to clearly define the activities and responsibilities of a specific function and/or organization, and provide options; • Reviewing, evaluating new or revised job descriptions and recommending appropriate changes;

The proposed resource must meet the requirements of the Flexible grid: Stream 8—Human resources services, Senior level of expertise |

MT2 |
The proposed resource must have 5 (five) years of experience, within the last 10 (ten) years, in performing classification functions within federal government organizations.
The Bidder must provide:
- proof of experience (within the last 10 years) in performing classification functions, must include experience in small organizations (2000 FTEs or less); |

MT3 |
The proposed resource must have a valid accreditation in classification.
The Bidder must provide:
a copy of the certificate in their proposal or the accreditation number; |
