Role Overview
This role oversees the full lifecycle of appraisal order assignments, ensuring timely vendor selection, regulatory compliance, accurate scope definition, and strong coordination across internal teams and external partners. The manager maintains vendor relationships, monitors order pipelines, enforces quality standards, and leads a KPI‑driven team focused on efficient, compliant, and scalable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high‑volume pipeline of appraisal orders from intake through vendor acceptance and completion.
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and client requirements, including appraisal independence standards.
- Oversee fees, expenses, and profitability while resolving escalations, fee disputes, and complex property issues.
- Review performance metrics, guide team goals, and conduct coaching, evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and onboarding programs for new team members.
- Collaborate with cross‑department leaders to optimize processes and enhance client, vendor, and consumer experience.
- Foster a professional, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong leadership abilities, including performance management and conflict resolution.
- Experience managing third‑party vendors, SLAs, and contract compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate client needs into operational processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis, identifying bottlenecks, and making data‑driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with strong prioritization and multitasking skills.

Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred in business, supply chain, logistics, or related fields.
- 3–5+ years in order management, customer service, logistics, or related industries.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
- Experience in real estate, mortgage, appraisal, or related services is preferred.
- Background in tracking and reporting team performance metrics.
