BCTG’s direct client is seeking a skilled SAP Project Manager to lead the Order to Cash workstream of its S/4 implementation project, reporting to the IT PMO. The Order to Cash SAP Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of the Order to Cash workstream within the IT organization. They manage project budgets and timelines, coordinate resources, and ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope and with the highest quality. The Senior Project Manager also tracks progress against goals, and works closely with IT and business leadership to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives. This role requires extensive experience in project management, team leadership and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with OTC leadership team to deliver project on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and senior management
- Escalate critical challenges as necessary
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with business objectives
- Manage project scope, change requests, and stakeholder expectations
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to project team members
- Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes and methodologies
- 6+ years of experience of successfully managing complex SAP implementation projects/programs from initiation to completion
- Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.); PMP or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, and team management skills including remote teams, consulting partners and other external resources
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels including the ability to influence and drive decisions across business and IT organizations
- Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and risk/issue management
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and highly organized
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously
