Job Description

Position Summary:
Bull City Talent Group's direct client has an immediate need for an Oracle HCM Cloud Testing Lead. The client is implementing Oracle HCM Cloud and migrating from legacy PeopleSoft HCM system. The team uses Jira for test management and other typical tools and techniques for an Oracle Cloud HCM implementation with a PeopleSoft migration.

Requires Oracle Cloud HCM testing experience and supervisory experience required. Must be able to lead HCM testing efforts while documenting test results, updating plans, and coordinating resources and activities during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Hands-on testing experience of key Oracle HCM Cloud processes is essential. Coordinates with multiple stakeholder groups.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Defines test strategies and leads the planning and execution of all testing efforts
  • Analyze business requirements and obtain clarifications from the project team to support test plans and materials
  • Ensures that the testing strategy mitigates risk exposure and solution defects
  • Apply a standard methodology to projects to meet requirements and deliverables
  • Communicate test plans, process, issues, and risks to key project stakeholders
  • Manages test project plans, schedules, and coordinates the necessary testing resourcing
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute SIT/UAT, as well as provide leadership of testing resources
  • Creates use cases, user stories, and test scripts for functional requirements validations
  • Train team members on testing procedures and on the use of testing tools
  • Collaborates with colleagues and resources to identify quality metrics for use in reporting progress
  • Diagnose problems and report defects.
  • Ensures that tests are successfully completed, documented, and resolved
  • Be part of the testing team as required
  • Facilitate training and chance management after implementation of major process or system changes
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and HR governance model data
  • Experience with testing and test management tools
  • Manage ad-hoc project requests/assignments

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on testing experience in Oracle HCM Cloud
  • 3+ years of related HRIS functional knowledge across HCM, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Compensation, Payroll, and Absence Management processes
  • Experience with a full life-cycle Oracle HCM implementation
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong ability to manage business relationships
