A. DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Cargo Latin America, this position will lead the Operations and Planning Department responsible for managing logistics support for Great
White Fleet commmercial cargo. This includes coordination with Chiquita operations personnel in managing critical logistics areas in North America and Central America including,
but not limited to: (1) Container availability (2) Chassis usage (3) inland transportation costing and troubleshooting (4) vessel space optinimzation (5) port throughput (6) forecasting
(7) capacity management (8) troubleshooting. This is a high-visibility, key leadership position that will collaborate daily with decision makers throughout the organization. The
person in this position must comply with all company procedures, standards, and goals. The Operations and Planning Supervisor will work cross functionally with Sales, Customer
Service, Tropical Logistics, Operations in North America, and Agents and Line Representative in Europe. This position must acquire an expertise in Great White Fleet’s proprietary IT
system.
