This role is to support the processing of the Cash Control team which supports check clearing, exception processing, regulatory functions, and agent bank account oversight for various business units in the firm including Wealth Management and Firm Issued checks. The temporary employee would be responsible for opening and logging returned mail, preparing documents for supervisor review, emailing branches regarding outstanding checks, and assisting in any other ways necessary.
The Private Banking Operations Cash Control team provides operational processing support for check clearing, for various business units in the firm. The Cash Control team is responsible for liaising with 3rd party banks for Reverse Positive Pay, ensuring proper clearance and reconciliation of outstanding checks, assisting in clearance of breaks or exceptions, and maintaining regulatory requirements relevant to retail bank checks. As needed the team also reports various business/operational metrics and participates in projects/initiatives for which the team is impacted.
The temporary employee would be responsible for opening and logging returned mail, preparing documents for supervisor review, emailing branches regarding outstanding checks, and assisting in any other ways necessary. Applicant should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a client-centric and a Team Oriented player, must be detail oriented as well as a logical and proactive thinker, strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and must be able to work under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
