Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • The Operations Manager will lead and develop personnel to deliver sustainable, competitive cost while maintaining safety, compliance, and asset integrity.
  • Aligns operations with business objectives.
  • Preparation and implementation of process improvement projects.
  • Prepare and deliver an annual unit budget for output, cost, quality, and capital spending.
  • Promote and sponsor safety programs and committees for initiatives.
  • Stimulate awareness for process safety across unit personnel.
  • Participate in PHA/HAZOP sessions.
  • Facilitate area meetings and regular briefings to unit team.
  • Develop capital program ensuring project priority, cost, and timeline meets business objectives.
  • Relocation provided. $140K-$170K.

Requirements:
  • The Operations Manager will have a BS degree with an engineering major and 10+ years in chemical manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of operations leadership/supervisory experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the petrochemical industry is preferred.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
